Norman K. Livingston
Managing Partner
Founder
As Managing Partner, Norman is responsible for developing the strategic direction, vision and overall leadership of the firm. Since founding the company in 2001, he has been involved in all areas of the firm including development, construction, acquisitions, finance, operations, marketing, leasing and management. In conjunction with the executive team, he develops the overall strategic direction of the company and is actively involved in building strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Prior to joining Norvin, Norman was Executive Managing Director of Investment Sales at Grubb & Ellis Company where he was responsible for over $1 billion of investment sales transactions. Prior to Grubb & Ellis Company, from 1981 to 1985, he was Vice President with Walter & Samuels Company, a fullservice real estate investment company in New York.
Norman graduated from Connecticut College with a Bachelor of Arts degree and New York University's Diploma Program in Real Estate Investment and Finance.
Vincent Carrega
Managing Partner
Founder
Prior to forming Norvin Healthcare Properties with his partner Norm Livingston, Vin Carrega worked more than 30-years in Grubb & Ellis’s in New York City Capital Markets group, and in this capacity has worked with and on behalf of a wide variety of top-tier investor, corporate, institutional, public, private and individual owner clients.
Active in all aspects of real estate-related investment sales, he has successfully completed transactions include the structuring/disposition of high-profile Manhattan development sites including 1517-25 Third Avenue, 200 West 72nd Street, 350 Amsterdam Avenue and a large development site at Eighth Avenue between 45th and 46th Street. Other notable transactions include the bankruptcy-related sales of both Cabrini Medical Center and 555 Sixth Avenue, as well as the sales of 423 West 55th Street, 387 Park Avenue South and 240 West 37th Street, among others.
During his 30-year tenure with Grubb & Ellis Mr. Carrega was frequently recognized as one of the firm’s top-producing investment sales brokers and consistently earned membership in the “Circle of Excellence,” a mark of distinction reserved for the company’s top transaction specialists nationally. Mr. Carrega also earned the distinction of membership in Grubb & Ellis’ President’s Council, an elite group of top producing professionals who balanced outstanding performance and dedication to the firm with exceptional client service.
Todd Muhlfelder
Director of Acquisitions
Todd oversees all aspects of the acquisition process including origination, underwriting, due diligence and financing. He is also directly involved with the asset management of Norvin's portfolio. Prior to joining Norvin in 2004, Todd was employed by a real estate private equity fund where he was responsible for new investments and acquisitions underwriting. Todd has 10 years of commercial real estate experience and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University.
Kathryn E. Robbins, RPA
Director of Property and Construction Management
A part of the Norvin team since 2001, Katy is responsible for overseeing the management and leasing of Norvin's real estate portfolio in Houston, TX. Based in Houston, Katy's responsibilities include the design and construction of approximately 1,000,000 square feet of office space and overseeing the replacement / installation of all major building systems within the Norvin portfolio. Katy has extensive experience in code compliance, and all projects are completed with energy efficiency and long term management in mind. Her 25 years of experience include oversight in excess of 1,000,000 square feet of office and medical properties for Bank of America, and 10 years with Hammerson Properties as both managing and leasing agent. Katy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Tulsa.
